Banned from IMC2


So on March 30 2008 I noticed I was having some trouble with my IMC2
connection, and after some fiddling and testing and reconnecting,
I eventually realized that I was probably banned.

I figured it had to be some sort of mixup, because I
was certain I hadn't broken any rules. I sent Kayle (the new IMC2
person that Samson handed control to) a PM asking what the deal
was, and I logged into an alternate mud to discuss it on IMC2,
sure that the misunderstanding could be resolved.

It turned out that there was no rule breaking, no misunderstanding,
nothing I was guilty of, other than being disliked:

And that's pretty much it. Subsequent PM's only made things clearer to me
in...uh...sharper language. It appears I'm persona non grata for reasons
of a personal nature, rather than policy reasons, so I have no way of knowing
how to resolve the problem, really.

I will continue to try supporting the IMC2 client on the Dead Souls lib, though
I suspect it may be somewhat more difficult to do now.
